Cyt-Lox 1.1 Troubleshooting

When running Cyt-Lox 1.1 as a stand-alone system without Internet or network connection some installations of the operating system conflict with the Reverse Filtering System preventing Cyt-Lox from accessing the local hard drives. This issue is known to CyberD and can be overcome by running the PC as a web-server.

Fixing Cyt-Lox 1.1 hard drive access:

• Install a web-server application on to the stand-alone unit.
• Set the IP address of the server as the localloop, 127.0.0.1.
• Create a domain within the server settings that points to the directory holding your data (e.g. http://127.0.0.1/mysite)
• Set the default home page of Cyt-Lox to be the home page of the new domain (e.g.: http://127.0.0.1/mysite/index.htm)
• Include the new domain in the security settings of Cyt-Lox's RFS table.

Cyt-Lox will now run through this server with new detrimental effect to either the PC's performance or Cyt-Lox.
