Configuring
Keystrokes
As not all cards are formatted to ISO 7810-7811 the keyboard emulator provides the facility to change the way fields and tracks are sent to your application. By default the driver will send keystrokes that match the ISO standard. Alternatively you can seperate your fields with carriage returns or a custom character. If your data is not seperated into ISO fields you can disable field seperators by selecting "other" and leaving the field blank. By checking "Do not send fields" the system will not send "<none>" in empty fields, if you have not seperated the track data into ISO fields you will need to check this box. By default each track is seperated by a caariage return, this can be change to any other typable character by selecting "other" and typing the desired character. It is possible to disable track seperation by checking "No Seperators" The driver can send a carriage return as a terminating character after sending all the requested track data, to enable this check "Send ENTER at end of message".
