Using SCR Keyboard Emulator

The USB drivers supplied with your Neuron SCR5/7 magnetic card reader create a virtual comm port on your PC whilst the reader is physically plugged into a USB socket. To locate this port number open Control Panel -> System, select the Hardware tab and click Device Manager, this will list all devices on your machine. Scroll to Ports(COM & LPT) and expand the tree view to show all ports on your machine. You will find in this list "NEURON USB Serial Port (COM#)" the number after "COM" is the number of the virtual port, select this number in SCR Card Reader Settings -> Comm Port drop down list.
